HOLLYWOOD - Original Dallas star Linda Gray has blasted Hollywood's plans to bring the veteran soap to the big screen.
Gurinder Chadha is set to direct John Travolta as J.R. Ewing and Jennifer Lopez in Gray's former role as Sue Ellen in the forthcoming movie.
However, Gray doesn't believe that the movie can capture the same cult interest that they managed to 28 years ago.
The actress says, "It they can achieve in two hours what we achieved in 11 years, good luck to them.
"I do think, come on, this is Hollywood. Be unique! Create something new."
