So many movies show up on the silver screen each year. Some of them are only Netflix worthy, but others become legendary. When Grease came out in 1978, kids and adults delighted in watching the colorful characters dance, sing, and fall in love. Already this year we have had to say goodbye to one member of the Grease cast, Jeff Conaway, who played the lovable Kenickie, but unfortunately the list continues to grow. Reports are stating that Annette Charles, best known for her role in the film as Charlene “Cha Cha” DiGregorio, died Wednesday night of cancer in her Los Angeles home at the age of 63.
For those those of you who have been living under a rock your whole life and haven't seen Grease, Cha Cha was the sexy girlfriend of the tough Scorpions gangmember, Craterface. She was a bitch, but she sure could dance. The point is, the movie wouldn't have been the same without her, so even though she may not have had many moments in the spotlight before or since then, she made a great contribution to the entertainment industry. But seriously, if you haven't seen the movie log onto your Netflix account right now and start streaming because you are missing out. We'll miss you Cha Cha!
