HOLLYWOOD - Wrestler Hulk Hogan's teenage son Nick had been caught speeding three times in the 12 months before Sunday's horrific car accident that left him and his friend hospitalized.
Since September 2006, Nick Bollea has received points on his driving license for traveling at 115 mph in a 70 mph speed-limit zone; 57 mph in a 30 mph zone; and 106 mph in a 70 mph, reports Web site TMZ.com.
According to police, the wrestling superstar's son was driving a Toyota Supra at high speed in Clearwater, Florida, on Sunday when he lost control and struck a palm tree. Bollea and his friend John Graziano were flown by Medivac helicopters to a hospital in St. Petersburg.
Bollea has since been discharged after being treated for minor injuries, but Graziano remains in a critical condition.
