HOLLYWOOD - The owner of the original 'hollywood' sign is auctioning the former Los Angeles landmark.
Dan Bliss, who bought the famous sign two years ago, offered it at $300,000 on Internet auction site eBay Nov. 17. There were no bids on the sign on its first day under the hammer.
The original Hollywood sign was ripped down in 1978 to make way for a new one.
