Horror 'Saw' Sequel Ads Banned

HOLLYWOOD - Advertisers for horror movie Saw 2 have been banned by American censors for

showing images of severed body parts.

Ratings organization The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has

reportedly told Lions Gate Films to remove footage featuring dismembered

fingers from websites. Titanic

The sequel to 2004 hit Saw 2 stars Mark Wahlberg's brother Donnie Wahlberg as a

detective trying to track down a man who forces his victims to kill each

other.

An MPAA spokesperson says the ratings body would have found the adverts

"unacceptable" had they examined their content before they were published on

the Internet.
