We've seen a few bricks in the foundation for the upcoming season of House so far. We've caught a glimpse of Dr. House in his new environment—jail—and a scene of the doc butting heads with a prison physician. We have clearly not had our fill, and the network is clearly very sympathetic to that. This new trailer for House's eighth season places its hero (Hugh Laurie) in front of a court after the events of this past season's finale (when he drove his car into Cuddy's living room). We see House sent directly to jail, wherein he makes a name for himself as the medical genius, but, as one would expect, he makes more than a handful of enemies. Check out the trailer for some signature House snark, a few spoilery peaks at plotlines to come, and a whole penitentiary of new characters.
