'Hurt Locker,' 'Hangover,' 'Up in the Air' Lead AFI Top Films of 2009

The Hurt LockerThe Hangover and George Clooney's new movie Up in the Air have been named among the American Film Institute's 10 best films of 2009.

Also making the list are Sugar, Up, A Single Man, A Serious Man, The MessengerCoraline and Precious.

Meanwhile, judges including writer/director David Milch and actress CCH Pounder chose Big Love, GleeTrue Blood and sitcom The Big Bang Theory among the best TV shows of the year.

The AFI will honor those selected at a gala in Los Angeles on Jan. 15.
