'In Plain Sight' Renewed One Last Time

ALTIt seems like In Plain Sight has been hanging in the balance for quite a while -- but USA has renewed it one final time, leaving no doubt over its future.

The network announced Thursday that the series will be given a proper goodbye in the form of one last season, a sort of thank-you to those fans who have stuck with the show's rocky existence.

"This is a show that is close to our hearts. It's one of the main shows that built our business at USA. We owe it to them to pick up eight final episodes," said network co-President Chris McCumber.

The drama series, which stars Mary McCormack as a U.S. marshal trying to balance a secretive job with a tumultuous family life, wrapped up its fourth-season finale on Sunday; season five will premiere next spring.
