Indians tempted to air "Tempation Island"

HOLLYWOOD - The Indian channel Star World says it will conduct a "poll" to determine

whether to go ahead with plans to air an Indian version of Temptation

Island, the Times of India reported Sunday.

A Star executive,

Samir Nair, told the newspaper: "We are planning an Indian show. We want

to do it, but first we have to know whether we should do it. The poll

will help us get a sense of things."

He indicated that the poll will ask

whether a show which questions the sanctity of relationships be

acceptable to Indian sensibilities. He added, "All kinds of things are

happening in the world. We are just providing India with a window to

watch it."
