There has been all sorts of speculation surrounding the recently confirmed Ghostbusters 3, but one thing became certain last night: Ivan Reitman will direct.
Reitman, who helmed and produced the first two installments, told MTV Tuesday night that he would definitely be in the director’s chair, as was rumored.
Reitman also commented on the in-the-works script from Year One scribes (and The Office cohorts) Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky: "They have delivered a draft … We are working our way through another draft ... good work is being done and all of us have our fingers crossed."
Unfortunately, though, Reitman wouldn’t comment on exactly what the script is about.
