Brad Parker has been handpicked by J.J. Abrams and Co. to direct an upcoming action movie for Abrams' Bad Robot production company.
The untitled film will be Parker's second directorial outing, after the forthcoming Oren Peli-produced horror flick The Diary of Lawson Oxford, due next year.
Parker has directed numerous high-profile commercials in addition to working as a second unit director on 2010's Let Me In, directed by Matt Reeves -- who, along with Abrams (and their Bad Robot cohort Bryan Burk), is producing Parker's sophomore outing.
