HOLLYWOOD - Jack Nicholson has upset bosses at London's National Film Theatre (NFT) by

pricing them out of the chance to screen The Passenger for their current

Michelangelo Antonioni season.

The former Hollywood hell -raiser bought the rights to the 1975 film, in which

he stars, and is in the process of selling them for what is believed to be a

large sum to Sony.

But Nicholson has upset bosses at the much-respected NFT, as they can't

afford to pay for a screening and he has failed to offer the classic movie as a

loan, despite the fact the film-loving organization dedicated an entire season

to him in 2003.
