Scores of fans clamored to gain entry to the legendary theater in Manhattan, but only 600 people were allowed in at a time.

That meant organized chaos outside, where fans showed off their Jackson spirit by singing the King of Pop’s songs, dancing to his music and wearing MJ-esque clothes.

Rev. Al Sharpton, who delivered a eulogy, was among those inside who listened to Jackson’s music, watched tribute videos and left flowers in honor of the late icon.

Jackson died June 25 after suffering a cardiac arrest. A public viewing of his body will be held on Friday at the Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, where he lived for several years.
