Jamie Foxx: "'Stealth' Was a Bad Film"

Stealth Movie Stills
HOLLYWOOD - Oscar winner Jamie Foxx hated promoting film flop Stealth--because he knew it was awful.

The fighter-pilot film, which also starred Jessica Biel and Josh Lucas, was ripped apart critically when it hit theaters in 2005, and became one of the year's biggest flops.

And even Foxx struggled to find good things to say about the film when he was promoting it.

He says, "Sometimes you do a movie and you have to go promote it, so on Stealth I was like, 'Yeah, this is the greatest.' And people would see me after seeing the movie and say, 'I can't believe you lied to me like that.'"

But the actor admits he is thoroughly enjoying the promotional tour for his latest movie The Kingdom--because he genuinely believes it's good.

He adds, "The Kingdom is very topical and it's a good movie. I don't have to lie about this one."
