 Jay Leno |
HOLLYWOOD - Comedian Jay Leno stated in court papers that he took "one or two" phone callsfrom Michael Jackson's accuser and the boy's mother--contradicting the teen's
recent court claims.
Leno says the boy and his mother made a pitch for money that sounded "very
rehearsed", according to a transcript of the Tonight Show host's interview with
Santa Barbara County sheriff's officers which was obtained by ABC News.
Leno's statements contradict the 15-year-old accuser's sworn testimony on
Mar. 14, when he said, "I never spoke to Jay Leno."
Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 10 felony charges of child molestation,
administering an intoxicating agent and conspiracy involving allegations of
child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion.
The trial continues.
