HOLLYWOOD - Alias star Jennifer Garner is furious with the media for announcing herpregnancy--because she wanted to be the first to tell her friends the good
news.
The brunette actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Ben Affleck
this winter, admits that while she's thrilled with the news, she's
annoyed her pals had to hear it from strangers.
She tells InStyle magazine, "It's so personal for me... The news of my
pregnancy got out when I was in the middle of my first trimester. I hadn't even
had a chance to tell my friends."
As a result of the press leak, Garner, 33, says she's grown
"hyper-protective" and that she's "uncomfortable with people reading too much"
about her romance or pregnancy.
She adds of her and Affleck's low-key June 29 wedding, "We were able to
have a beautiful, private wedding, and I couldn't be happier... [The ceremony
was] too sweet to read about or dissect or talk about."
