Jennifer Hudson will likely make her first public appearance in February, since the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and nephew last October.
The Dreamgirls star is scheduled to perform Neil Diamond songs, along with fellow Grammy nominees, at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala on Feb. 6, just two days before the 51st annual Grammy Awards where she could take home up to four statues.
Earlier this month, Hudson’s brother-in-law William Balfour was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion.
