HOLLYWOOD - Comedian Jimmy Fallon will replace comedian Conan O'Brien as the new host of TV talk show Late Night, NBC confirmed on Monday.

Former Saturday Night Live star Fallon is set to make his debut next June when O'Brien moves to an earlier time slot on NBC's schedules to replace Tonight Show host Jay Leno.

Ben Silverman, co-chair of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, says of the new lineup, "Jimmy is more than just a likeable guy and a great comedian; he is genuinely interested in what people have to say."
