John Cho has joined that Total Recall remake -- which means yes, no matter how hard we try to avoid the film, it is actually happening. He'll play McClane, the "smooth-talking rep for the mind-messing company that tempts Colin Farrell's Douglas Quaid to implant fantastic memories into his brain," according to Entertainment Weekly. Filming starts on Monday, with the picture already starring Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston and Ethan Hawke in a cameo appearance. Even though that's a pretty bad-ass cast, it's just difficult for me to see how anything good comes from remaking Total Recall. Well, except all of the inevitable jokes about Arnold's lovechild. Oh yeah, plus an updated version of that three-breasted woman. So, fine, maybe it's not such a bad idea after all.
