HOLLYWOOD - The estate of late TV legend Johnny Carson has donated $5 million to his former university.The money will be used to create the Johnny Carson Fund for Theater, Film and
Broadcasting, the annual income of which will go towards supporting the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Theater arts and the College of
Journalism and Mass Communications.
The new donation means more than $11 million has been donated
by former Tonight Show Carson to the university.
Carson died in January at the age of 79.
