Sometimes actors really need to think before they speak...especially if they know that what they're going to say will end up in magazines all over the country. In an interview with Vanity Fair, our beloved Johnny Depp said that posing for photo shoots is basically the equivalent to getting sexually assaulted. What?! Has Kristen Stewart's foolishness taught you nothing? Johnny claims that photo shoots make you feel dumb and stupid, just like rape. He stated, “Well, you just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped ... It feels like a kind of weird -- just weird, man. [I'll pose with fans], but whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like -- you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid." You know, because that's how rape makes you feel -- dumb and stupid. Really Johnny? Really?
Now I love our boy Johnny as much as the next person, but you have to admit this is a major faux pas. Yes, it must be so torturous having to pose in a photo shoot to promote a movie that you were paid millions of dollars to make -- THE HORROR! And it's not like he had a choice in the matter. I'm sure he was forced to put on that three thousand dollar suit and drink that expensive liquor for hours on end. The poor guy. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go have my short term memory erased, so I can go back to loving the very essence of Johnny Depp's being. You may want to do the same.
