HOLLYWOOD - Angelina Jolie has sparked reports of a reconciliation with her estranged father, Jon Voight, after he was spotted leaving the New York hotel she is staying in.
The pair has barely spoken since 2002 when Voight angered Jolie by suggesting on TV that she was mentally ill.
Voight has been trying to reconcile with his daughter ever since, admitting recently he has never met her four kids.
A recent rosebush-planting ceremony in a public park--in tribute to his late ex-wife, Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand--was thought to be an attempt to mend the rift.
And it appears to have worked--on Sunday, a grinning Voight was photographed leaving the Waldorf Astoria Hotel where Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children have made their home.
