Relationships rarely work out in Hollywood; it's a simple fact of life that I've slowly learned to accept. But what if a celebrity dated another celebrity's kid? What then? In any case, we're about to find out because Page Six is reporting that our beloved funnyman, Jonah Hill, is now dating Ali Hoffman, daughter of legendary actor, Dustin Hoffman.
I highly doubt dear old dad is that upset about the recent romantic pairing. Sources say Hill and Ms. Hoffman have known each other for quite a long time and “were friends when they were growing up," adding that "Jonah is good friends with Ali's brother, Jake." So, I think it's safe to say the comedic actor already feels like part of the family. In fact, Jonah got his big acting break in I Heart Huckabees, which happened to star Hoffman. This is entertainment networking at its finest, people!
Past history aside, things seem to be going well for the cute couple; they even spent the holidays together. A trusty insider revealed that, “Jonah was in Hawaii over the holidays with the Hoffman clan.” Not a bad way to end the year, if you ask me. Now, we'll just have to wait and see if their semi-celeb relationship lives to see 2013.
So far, reps have neglected to comment.
