Hollywood - Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones walked down the aisle to wed his long-time sweetheart, Dawn Maria Laurel, in a private ceremony in San Antonio, Texas, last Monday. Jones, 54, and Laurel, 36, tied the knot at a private club with only family and close friends in attendance. The couple met in 1995 on the set of the film Jones directed, The Good Old Boys.
``It wasn't a big to-do,'' U.S. District Judge Fred Biery, who performed the ceremony, told the San Antonio Express-News. "These are very private people."
Jennifer Allen, Jones' publicist, says the couple has a lot in common. "There are so many ways their lives are intertwined, and they're just terrific together."
Jones, who won an Oscar for best supporting actor in his role as a tough U.S. marshal in The Fugitive, has been married twice before and is the father of two children.
