A $20,448 (£13,630) lien for delinquent state taxes was filed against the Snatch star and his wife Tanya by officials at America's Interval Revenue Service in Sacramento County Court, California on 20 July (10).
But Jones' agent, Alex Cole, insists the debt has been "paid and cleared" following a mail mix-up.
He says, "We have just checked with his accountants in New York and this matter had been paid and cleared. It simply came down to a misunderstanding with mail addresses."
