Julie Brown Sues After "I'm A Celebrity..." Leech Horror

HOLLYWOOD - TV star 'Downtown' Julie Brown is suing the makers of the reality show

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! after suffering scars from a leech bath on

the show.

The former MTV presenter agreed to sit in the leech after crew members told

her the blood-suckers posed no harm.

But Brown insists in legal papers that she still has bite marks and scars on

her skin a year after appearing on the show and she's suing for $500,000

in damages.

Brown joined Melissa Rivers and Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband Cris Judd on the

program, which featured stars roughing it in the Australian outback.

Show producer Brady Connolly insists he'll fight the suit, claiming not only

do contestants sign legal disclaimers, but participants have to know there's

always a risk in competing in reality TV programs.
