Battlestar Galactica star Katee Sackhoff is in talks to join the cast of the untitled follow-up to 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick, Deadline.com has learned. The project, once dismissed by many as a figment of Vin Diesel's charmingly fervid imagination, is apparently a very real phenomenon, with production offices in Montreal that have been confirmed to exist. According to Deadline, Sackhoff will play "a Nordic mercenary" tracking Diesel's title character. No doubt romantic sparks will fly between the two; Diesel is well-known for his sizzling romantic chemistry with female co-stars, as those who witnessed his unforgettable dalliance with what's-her-name in Fast Five will attest.
