Katharine Hepburn in recovery

HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn, recovering from a urinary tract infection, will likely leave hospital this weekend, The Associated Press reported Friday.

Hepburn, 94, has spent two nights in the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn., where she has undergone testing. She will leave the hospital on Saturday or Sunday to return to her mansion in Old Saybrook, hospital spokesman James Battaglio said.

Ellsworth Grant, Hepburn's brother-in-law, said Thursday that the actress is "doing much better today."

Hepburn, of The African Queen and Woman of the Year fame, has received 12 Academy Award nominations, tying the all-time record, and won four times. She received the Oscars for her work in Morning Glory, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The Lion in Winter and On Golden Pond.

Recent ailments that have plagued the much-adored actress include pneumonia, arthritis and Parkinson's-like tremors.
