After getting banned from television a few short weeks ago, Keith Olbermann has announced his next venture in the media world as Chief News Officer of Current Media via Twitter. For those who aren't familiar with the network, Al Gore founded it back in 2005 after he was frustrated with modern cable news. Since its incarnation, the network has won multiple Emmys, including Best Interactive Television Service. The network also is not limited to hard news, as it features pop culture commentary and movie criticism with The Rotten Tomatoes Show.
Apparently while making the announcement, Mr. Olbermann was standing at the top of a snowy hill with a sled.
"Greetings from Keith Olbermann, Chief News Officer of Current Media! And awayyyyyy we go! #FOK"
Cheers, Keith. Don't run into any trees on your way down the hill.
