We all know Kelly Clarkson from her American Idol days, but unlike some of her other Idol comrades, she has not allowed herself or her talent to be cast in the shadows, never to be heard from again. In fact, I'd say she's getting bolder and adding a little feisty attitude into her music, and the latest example of this can be found in the release of her new video, Mr. Know It All. In the video, Clarkson puts a man (whose face we never see) in his place for thinking that he knows everything about her. While she's a few unicorns and eccentric costumes shy of creating a Katy Perry or Lady Gaga experience, she brings enough sass and glamor to the video to make it worth watching. The lyrics itself are powerful, but her meaningful looks into the camera and bold demand for independence really help to drive the message home. Though you may think she's just playing it safe with her lack of choreography and wardrobe changes (I, myself, am a fan of impressive dance moves and costume variation), sometimes it's better to keep things simple in order to send a big message.
