HOLLYWOOD - Talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel suffered a medical scare on Wednesday when he was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
The host of Jimmy Kimmel Live is "resting comfortably" after the operation to remove his appendix, according to his publicist, Lewis Kay.
He adds, "(He) is looking forward to getting back to work. The rest of this week's tapings have been cancelled until he is back on his feet."
