Heidi Klum and Michael Kors |
HOLLYWOOD - Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera, Harry Belafonte, Kenneth Cole, Lauren Bush, Oscar de la Renta, Perry Farrell, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Venus Williams, Vivica A. Fox and Zac Posen are among celebs that will sign one-of-a-kind photographs to be auctioned on eBay during Olympus Fashion Week in support of the Entertainment Industry Foundation's National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance (EIF's NCCRA). The auction is the latest in a series of initiatives from Olympus and the entertainment industry to support NCCRA co-founder Katie Couric to generate awareness and funds for colon-cancer research.

New Yorkers will also be able to see the portraits at Bryant Park in New York City throughout Fashion Week. Taken by acclaimed photographer and Olympus Visionary Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, the portraits, shot during Fashion Week in February 2005, capture the diverse personalities that make Fashion Week a world-renowned event.
The public-service effort is part of the long-term campaign Be Seen, Be Screened. The campaign hopes to educate Americans, mostly women, about colorectal cancer, the No. 2 killer of men and women combined, killing more than 55,000 a year. The disease is often preventable, but women, especially, seem to underestimate their risk, often dismissing it as a "man's disease."
The auction is accessible on eBay from the opening of Olympus Fashion Week on Friday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. until Monday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m.
