New Moon's Kristen Stewart
The plot of New Moon, the upcoming sequel to the blockbuster teen vampire flick Twilight, centers on an extended flirtation between Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her lycanthropic pal Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). But when poor Jacob, fatally misinterpreting Bella's affections, tries to make a move, he can't even get to first base. In fact, he hardly makes it out of the batter's box with Edward Cullen's spurned paramour.
Is Bella selfish? Is she guilty of leading lovelorn Jacob on? We posed the question to Stewart herself in an exclusive interview, and she gave us a surprising answer:
