HOLLYWOOD - Actress Lauren Graham has stepped forward to declare she wants the coveted roleof Wonder Woman in the highly-anticipated movie adaptation.
While Sandra Bullock, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joanie 'Chyna' Laurer, Katie Holmes and Mischa Barton are among the names who have been mentioned for the
role Lynda Carter immortalized in the 1970s TV show, an actress has yet to be
confirmed.
And Gilmore Girls star Graham admits she's flattered that a group of her fans
have been voicing their desires in Internet chat rooms for her to play Wonder
Woman.
She says, "I would frigging love to be Wonder Woman! I was almost her once
when I was working at the Mattel Toy Fair in the mid-'90s. But then they
switched me over to the UNO card game.
"I love a good headband."
Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon is helming the project, which is
expected to be released in 2007.
