Lavigne, 'High School Musical' and 'Potter' Top U.K. Kids' Choice Awards

HOLLYWOOD - Singer Avril Lavigne, TV movie High School Musical and Harry Potter were the big winners at the first-ever Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards U.K in London on Saturday.
British boy band McFly hosted the event at the Excel center, which saw the Disney musical pick up two awards--Zac Efron was named Best TV Actor, while Ashley Tisdale was named Best TV Actress.
Lavigne equaled High School Musical's awards haul, triumphing in the Best Female Singer and Best Music Video categories.
Harry Potter scooped two gongs: Emma Watson--who plays Hermione Grainger in the boy-wizard franchise--was named Best Movie Actress, while the seventh installment in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, won the Best Book category.
