HOLLYWOOD - Former Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless is planning a singing career after performing for fans at a West Hollywood gay club.

The New Zealander agreed to go onstage at The Factory after a dance song she recorded on a whim, “Come To Me,” became a hit in gay clubs - and now she wants to do more.

Lawless says, "It was one of the wildest rock 'n' roll experiences of my life."

The actress is now taking singing lessons with vocal coach Eric Betro with a view to recording an album of songs.
