HOLLYWOOD - Beloved Hollywood funnyman Jerry Lewis has returned to work just days after undergoing heart surgery.
The 80-year-old suffered a minor heart attack on June 11 and subsequently had an operation to re-open the same arteries involved in his double bypass two decades ago.
And amazingly Lewis is already hard at work organizing his famed annual charity telethon in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, as he recuperates on his boast moored in San Diego, California.
His manager Claudia Marghilano says, "He's recovering and already working on the telethon.
"They put him on antibiotics and he's recovering. He's just doing great now."
