Liam Hemsworth Joining 'The Expendables 2'

The Expendables was a maniaxploding rage-coaster of passion-fueled lunacy. So The Expendables 2? All that...plus a Hemsworth.

Liam Hemsworth is the latest of brawn-rich fame falcons to join the cast of The Expendables 2. His company thus far is a much older gang of machismatics, including Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris. Nicolas Cage and John Travolta are potentials to join the cast as well.

Liam Hemsworth has got a good idea: appeal to all crowds. His upcoming role in The Hunger Games will put him in good with the literary demographic who are looking forward to see their favorite novel series come to life. The Expendables 2 caters to a crowd that is more intrigued by base intensity. However, the two groups are hardly mutually exclusive. And now, they have a Hemsworth to bond over.
