Lindsay Lohan -- who was scheduled to return from Hawaii yesterday -- missed her flight back to Los Angeles, which caused her to also miss her scheduled taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, (that was set to air this Thursday). That by itself isn't really a big deal (just rude), but Lindsay's next court appearance happens to be this morning and I have a feeling Judge Stephanie Sautner will not be impressed if she experiences the actress's less-than-prompt tendencies firsthand.
But never fear, Lindsay's rep, Steve Honig, told E! News the situation "has been resolved and she will be back in Los Angeles in time for her court appearance." (Another close call by Lilo with the law). So why the delay in the first place? According to Honig, "Lindsay had a travel-related issue arise that took a few hours to sort out," which is about as vague of a response as you can get and tells us absolutely nothing of use. But knowing Lindsay, she probably just overslept after a night of "sober" partying and didn't get to the airport in time to catch her flight. I guess we'll never know for sure though, but at least she fully completed her required amount of community service this time around. We can't say she's not improving!
