Lindsay Lohan's Court Date: Judge Says She's "Back on Track"

lindsay lohanLindsay Lohan is well on her way to putting all her legal troubles behind her. The 25-year-old actress appeared in court today, Feb. 22, for her scheduled progress hearing with Judge Stephanie Sautner and it could not have gone any better. According to E! News, Lohan successfully completed her court-mandated community service and psychotherapy sessions on-time, causing Judge Sautner to say, "You seem to be getting your life back on track."

Additionally, Sautner commented that Lohan "has done everything that's required," and is "in the homestretch" of her sentence. The no-nonsense judge also praised Lohan's "positive change" and noted her glowing reports from both her probation department and her therapist.

But she's not out of the woods quite yet. The Mean Girls star must complete fourteen more days of community service at the L.A. County morgue, along with her five remaining psychology sessions before her final progress hearing on March 29. If Lohan complies with these final court requirements, her 2007 DUI charges will be removed.

It's also worth mentioning that Lohan arrived 24 minutes early to the hearing (a personal best for her), dressed in court-appropriate garb, wearing a tan trench coat and mint-green dress. So she wasn't late and wore a presentable outfit; she certainly seems like a new and improved Lilo.

In parting, Sautner cautioned Lohan to "just obey all laws, stay out of trouble and move on with your life." Let's hope she heeds the judge's advice. Do you think Lilo turning over a new leaf?
