HOLLYWOOD - Pop singer Britney Spears has been caught once again with the wrong brand of drink on her hands. After having signed a $97.5 million deal with Pepsi earlier this year, she was reportedly seen drinking a competitor's soft drink -- ahem, Coca-Cola -- during her stay in Sydney, Australia last month.
And there's more. Inside sources tell me that Spears has decorated her New York City loft with a soda machine that does not belong to Pepsi. If you happened to catch the latest MTV show Making of the Video, you might have noticed that during the filming of her "Slave 4u" video shoot, she was drinking from a can of soda that wasn't Pepsi's either. Word of advice Britney: If you are going to earn that much money to drink Pepsi, you'd better pretend that you enjoy drinking it.
Borland, Ward leave respective rock groups
Limp Bizkit's guitarist Wes Borland has left the band, according to a post from the group official's Web site www.limpbizkit.com. "Limp Bizkit and Wes Borland have amicably decided to part ways," reads the release. "Both Limp Bizkit and Borland will continue to pursue their respective musical careers. Both wish each other the best of luck in all future endeavors." Limp Bizkit's vocalist Fred Durst promised to "comb the globe" in search of a replacement guitarist for the group and continue to work on their next album, which they promised will be "the sickest new undeniable Limp Bizkit record you could ever imagine." Borland has yet to make a statement on his departure.
After leaving the rock group the Wallflowers on Oct. 11, guitarist Michael Ward told Allstar that his sudden exit from the band was due to "musical, personal and ideological differences." His departure reportedly followed a year or more of deteriorating relations. According to the Wallflowers' official Web site, Ward has other projects in the works, but no details have been released.

He will not face additional time thanks to a deal he struck with prosecutors.
Creed postpone Creedfest
Creed have postponed a two-day Creedfest that was to take place next month in order to wrap up work on their next album,Weathered. "We were very disappointed, and I hope we can reschedule for sometime next year," drummer Scott Phillips told Rolling Stone on Oct. 11. "We just found out that it was going to be very hard for us to [finish Weathered] and still hold Creedfest. Also, there were supposed to be people from all over the world coming and getting to experience this with us, and that meant most of them would have had to fly. So there was a safety issue." Creed has also made the album's first single, "My Sacrifice," available for download at their official Web site, www.creednet.com.
