HOLLYWOOD - Troubled star Lindsay Lohan is set to enter rehab this afternoon, according to reports.
The actress, who was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) on Saturday morning after crashing her Mercedes convertible in Beverly Hills, is due to check into the Promises center in Malibu today, reports In Touch magazine.
A friend tells the publication, "She finally realizes it's the right thing to do. She is going willingly."
It will be the second time in just over four months the star has been admitted to a rehab facility--she completed a 30-day program at Wonderland in Los Angeles in February.
In the May edition of Allure magazine, Lohan said she didn't believe she could be called an addict and rehab made her feel "safe."
She said, "It's so weird that I went to rehab. I always said I would die before I went to rehab. (My room was) all white, with a parquet, and it was different! I just felt safe. I thought, ‘I'm going to stay here tonight.’ And I stayed there. For a month. It was great.
"I don't know that I'm necessarily an addict."
