HOLLYWOOD - Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan caused a stir at the Venice Film Festival yesterday when she proudly displayed a dazzling ring on her engagement finger.
The Herbie: Fully Loaded actress received the enormous diamond-and-white-gold ring from boyfriend Harry Morton while on vacation in Hawaii, immediately sparking speculation they're set to tie the knot.
Posing for paparazzi in Italy for the premiere of new movie Bobby, Lohan did little to quash rumors by flashing the gem on the red carpet.
Estevez Praises Lohan's Commitment
Bobby director Emilio Estevez has spoken out in defense of Lindsay Lohan, praising her commitment to the movie in the face of stinging criticism from costars.
William H. Macy reportedly described the Mean Girls actress' lack of time-keeping as "disrespectful" to the film's crew and cast, but Estevez insists his young star gave her all in her role as a politically motivated bride.
He says, "She really dug into it and was so committed. Lindsay came to this wanting to be a part of something bigger.
"It wasn't about just putting her name on something. She really believed in this and we were lucky to have her."
