The new trailer for Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis’ Mexploitation flick Machete hit the intertubes today in all its red-banded glory. Machete is ostensibly about a machete-wielding man named Machete, who tries to get revenge on the men who tried to have him killed, but it’s actually about violence, guns, more violence, hot chicks, Cheech Marin, and awesome, awesome violence. To check out some of the aforementioned violence (my personal favorite is the intestinal Tarzan swing), check out the trailer below. Machete stars Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Cheech Marin, invisible Lindsay Lohan, and Robert De Niro, and will be exploding its way into theaters on September 3.
