Madonna
's African lawyer insists his client will be a mum again on Friday when her latest adoption plans are given the green light.

Attorney Alan Chinula insists he's anything but worried as Friday's hearing deadline approaches.

The pop superstar has spent the past week in Malawi, revisiting adopted son David's village and making plans to adopt a four-year-old girl, called Mercy James.

And Chinula is more than confident that the adoption will go through as planned.

He says, "I don't see any law in Malawi that can stop this adoption."

The lawyer claims the orphaned girl's mother died shortly after childbirth and her uncle has already signed the relevant paperwork.

Chinula tells UsMagazine.com, "He has already signed off the consent forms, and Madonna counter-signed them. She just has to wait to hear from me when I get the result.

Madonna is not required to attend Friday's hearing.

Many human rights groups are opposing Madonna's latest adoption plans, insisting the little girl should be left in Malawi.
