Tobey Maguire is eager to get in the driving seat of his forthcoming film -- he's signed up to play a racecar driver on the big screen.
The Spider-Man star will portray Phil Hill, who won the 1961 World Drivers Championship, after a battle with fellow Ferrari driver Wolfgang von Trips -- who was tragically killed after an accident on the track.
Maguire will also produce the biopic, titled The Limit, which is based on a forthcoming novel of the same name by Michael Cannell.
