HOLLYWOOD - Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner's latest movie The Kingdom has been marred by tragedy after a young man was killed in a carting accident on set.
Assistant propmaster Nick Papac, 25, was driving a motorized cart on a closed section of the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Mesa, Arizona, on Saturday, when he crashed into a sports utility vehicle, which was carrying director Peter Berg.
Papac was thrown from the vehicle and suffered "very, very serious" head injuries, but died upon arrival at the hospital, a statement from the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed.
Filming was suspended yesterday and is due to resume on Wednesday.
During his short career, Papac also worked on hit movies Miami Vice, Mr. and Mrs. Smith and S.W.A.T.
