HOLLYWOOD - A History of Violence beauty Maria Bello is planning to abandon acting to be a director.
The talented star is convinced there's more to life than being a screen icon--and she's already finished writing a screenplay for her directorial debut.
She says, "I'm writing and I plan to direct. I've finished one screenplay which is like a Mystic Pizza on the Jersey Shore and that's the one I'll direct.”
“At first, I wasn't sure about what kind of director I could be because I'm quite a scattered human being. But the more time I spend on set, the more I realize I have the right qualities."
