HOLLYWOOD - Arnold Schwarzenegger's plans to run for President of the United States have been met with disapproval from his wife Maria Shriver.Since becoming Governor of California in 2003, Austrian Schwarzenegger has
been urged to support a change in the Constitution to allow foreign-born
politicians who have been U.S. citizens for 20 years or more to be able to run
for presidency.
But Shriver admits she's far from thrilled with the idea of her husband
running America--because she wants him at home with their family.
She says, "I want him back home. While I was always raised to believe that
public service is the most noble calling, it's allen compassing and it's tough
if you have young children. It's a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week job. So I want him
back."
