Descendants star Matthew Lillard is in talks to join Trouble With the Curve, Clint Eastwood's first turn in front of the camera since Gran Torino, EW has learned. The film concerns an aging baseball scout, played by Eastwood, who must cope with declining eyesight while traveling to Atlanta to evaluate a prospect. Lillard will reportedly also be playing a scout, presumably one with his vision intact. Amy Adams is slated to play Eastwood's daughter.
Director Robert Lorenz is scheduled to begin production on Trouble With the Curve in March.
